Enrolment

West Harbour School operates an enrolment zone. Therefore parents who live within the school zone may enrol their child at West Harbour School. Please check that you live inside our school zone before pre-enrolling your child. If you are unsure, please contact our school office - they will be able to assist you with this.

If you do not live in our school zone, you will need to apply to enrol your child through the ballot. The school will advertise for out-of-zone enrolments when places are available. You can find further information regarding out of zone enrolment here

West Harbour School Zone

When enrolling your child, you will require the following documentation:

Child’s birth certificate or passport
Copy of your child’s immunisation record
If you are not a NZ citizen you will need to bring your child’s passport containing their residency or student visa.
Proof of address – power or water bill, rates account, bank statement etc.

Pre-enrolments are welcome and recommended as they assist with our future planning. Before your child starts with us, we will arrange a meeting with you to answer any questions you may have, to learn about your children and to give you the opportunity to get to know us.

For new entrants, we will also arrange some school visits before they start at our school. This enables them to meet their teacher and their new classmates. We arrange these visits as part of our enrolment process.

Once you have confirmed that you live in our school zone, please complete the pre-enrolment form.
