Sports Camp.

Early in Term 3 38 students traveled to Matamata to take part in West Harbour Schools first ever sports camp.  

The students had trained for 6 months before going which showed on the field.  All of the students made themselves, WHS, and their families very proud.  They made it into 6 semi finals but unfortunately did not make it into any finals.  

The students had an amazing time both on and off the field.  The bus ride on the way home was extremely quiet after a massive week of sports. 

The team won runner up in Quality living, Sportsmanship and in the Cheer.

 Thank you to all the parents, teachers, families who helped with fundraising, training, organising and for coming down to support us in Matamata.  Also thank you to the Withers family for donating tops for us to use.

A special thank you also goes out to the Polima family and the Kelly family who donated/raised a substantial amount for our camp.
