Writing this term will focus on improving our ability to write stories with suspense. Stories that are interesting are more likely to be read. We will therefore look at how writers make their stories exciting to read. The focus will go on language features and creating interesting plots.

Encourage your child to write at home. Maybe they can keep a diary, or ask your child to write the shopping list for you each week. Every little bit will help.
