Reading

We will continue to develop a deeper understanding of texts and how they have been written for the reader. Focus questions will allow us to analyse and extract meaning. Mostly fiction stories will be used.

Reading at home will support this learning. Please encourage your child to make books their best friends. Your child can choose books from a large selection at school and also at the public library. Choosing an interesting book, possibly a graphic novel, cartoon style or chapter book will make reading more enjoyable.
