This term we will focus on improving our basic facts knowledge. We will learn and practise this in class, but it's important your child learns these at home. Someone at home might even be able to test him/her!
We continue from last year with understanding how numbers work. Being able to use place value with confidence, will allow your child to solve some challenging problems. Also we look at using decimals and large numbers.
Statistics is also being covered this term. Creating stem and leaf charts and working with probability is going to be our focus.
