You are welcome to call and see us at any time before or after school 8.30 – 8.50, 3.00 – 3.30. Please do, it is good to get to know mums, dads and caregivers. If you wish to discuss your child’s progress it is better to make an appointment through the school office so we can put together any information you may need.
Attendance – Children who are absent from school need to bring a note on returning to school if you have not made a phone call to our office regarding the absence. Please note that children should be at school by 8.45am at the latest – our first bell rings at 8.55 am. If your child is late please give them a note to excuse this.
Uniform and hats - All children must have a hat to wear that protects their faces from the sun. Please ensure that their hat is well named. Hats are compulsory in the playground in Term 1.The school uniform can be ordered at the school office, please name in at least 2 places so discarded pieces can be returned to its owner. Swimming – Children will be told the days their class swimming lessons will be held. They need togs and named towel in a bag. A dated note is required if your child is to be excused from swimming due to illness.
Our school-wide Term 1 and 2 study is “Challenges and Changes” In Titoki we will be focussing on the challenge of being up and ready to make our classes organised and happy learning places in the first 3 weeks. For the remainder of the term each class level will have its own focus on a social science area. Each class teacher will send home details soon of expected learning in their class as well as homework expectations.
We thank you for your support of your child’s learning this year.
Pam Hammond, Judith Puch, Mark Draga.
