Mathematics
This term we will be focusing on the mathematical strands of Algebra and Measurement as well as Number. We will be working very hard on our number knowledge, particularly our basic facts and with the strategies we use to help us solve math problems.
Ways you can help your child with their maths:
* Cooking - it provides lots of opportunities for learning about maths and how to follow instructions and procedures
* Calendars are a way of learning the names of the months, days of the week and learning about the structure of a week, a month and a year
* Time - noticing time and telling the time and living with schedules and figuring out problems involving time
