Writing

In Room 3 we do writing every day. This helps our writing get better and better. We have our own personal goals that we are focused on during our writing time and striving to achieve.

On Mondays we focus on learning a new writing skill (e.g. learning about using punctuation correctly).

On Tuesdays we do Cameo writing or Environmental writing. We really like these types of writing because it allows us to be very creative and to experience different things (e.g. blowing bubbles).

On Wednesdays and Thursdays we focus on Personal Recount writing or Explanation writing (which is a focus for this term).

On Fridays we publish our favourite piece of work from the week and display it in the "Young Authors" area in our classroom.
