Storywriting

We are learning to become super authors in Room 6.  Currently we are focusing on writing recounts and cameos. We all work hard and try our best to achieve our writing goals that we set for ourselves this term. Our common goal is to be more descriptive and  improve the quality of our stories.  We are learning how to use interesting language, for example, appropriate adjectives, metaphors, alliteration and similes to make our stories more appealing for the reader. Here are some examples of similes we wrote to describe our swimmimg  

When I went swimmig I floated like a starfish that lives in the ocean.  Luke

When I was at Westwave I was swimming and splashing like a whale. Mapa
