Everybody has a personal timeline.

  1. Say when they were born and where
  2. Give some examples of some special events
  3. Collect photos, information and mementos about special events in their lives.
  4. Sequence photos and make a timeline
  5. Orally describe their timeline
  6. Ask a question of another timeline
  7. Invite grandparents and participate in Grandparent Day events

Floating and Sinking 

Manuka Children are learning to:  

  • 1. Say what they know about floating and sinking- class brainstorm
  • 2. Say what they want to find out about floating and sinking (AFL)
  • 3. Classify/sort things that float and sink
  • 4. Record results on a graph/ chart
  • 5. Experiment on own or with a small group
