Writing

Our focus for Term 1 is writing personal recounts.

The students will learn how to plan and set out a recount, the language features that enhance their writing, and the development of vocabulary to add interest. I look forward to being able to share some writing with you shortly.

 

Procedural Writing

The students in room 22 have also been learning procedural writing this term - this is how to do something or make something.

They had a lot of fun with Mrs Dunn writing the instructions for making a jam sandwich, and then eating the results - the sandwiches, not the writing.

The students also made marshmallow easter eggs - there were hundreds and thousands and sticky fingers a plenty!!
