Christmas Family PicnicFriday 16th December 6pm - 8pm - 6 Moire Road, MasseyCelebrate the coming festive season at the Church of the Good Shepherd's Christmas Family Picnic. Its happening this Friday 16th December from 6pm - 8pm 6 Moire Road, Massey. Bring along a picnic and blanket. There will be items, games, lollies, sausage sizzle, carols and music for the whole family to enjoy.
Westgate Pedestrian and Cycling BridgeDecember 2011To improve access and safety, the NZ transport agency and Auckland Transport are building a fully accessible walking and cycling bridge across SH16 near the Westgate Shopping Centre. The bridge will connect Oreil Avenue at Manutewhau Reserve to Westgate Drive Wetlands reserve. During Summer some trees will be removed with construction expected to begin in January 2012. HIPPY Royal Heights - Recruiting parents of 4-5 year olds for 2012Home Based pre-school programmeHIPPY is a home-based programme that helps parents to work with their 4 to 5 year old children to learn and create experiences that lay foundations for success in school and later life. Parents are supported with fortnightly home visits and the assistance of a parent tutor that provides resources and activities to help your child develop cognitive skills including language, problem solving logical thinking and other school readiness skills.
